Madsen Blessing Day

The newest member of the Madsen family was blessed recently. I was so excited when my beautiful sister asked me to update their family pictures. Not only are they a gorgeous family, but I love to be around them. It was my pleasure to spend some time capturing these family moments.

Baptism

This is my handsome nephew. August is a big month for him because this year he is turning eight! He has made the decision to be baptized and I really enjoyed taking some photos of him to remember this special time.

FreeStyle Dance Company

I am a dancer at heart, though it has been a few years since I was part of a team and dancing regularly. So it was pretty rewarding to return to the world of dance and stand on the sidelines to photograph the amazingly talened dancers of the FreeStyle Dance Company. Erica Colvin, my dear friend since high school, contacted me to take pictures for her new website and I am honored to show off some of my favorites from this partnership....We began taking photos at the studio located in the Whittier Center. You will notice a variety of styles from these photographs. They do just about every dance genre from ballroom and latin, to country western swing.
